In the United States exists citizens militias. Some months ago a man suddenly appeared on the scene and called his group "Minutemen" after the first citizen's militia in the U.S.
Many people on the right began supporting this man, Jim Gilchrist, but his campaign just went up in flames as he got only 25 percent of the vote for his U.S. Congressional seat bid.
The downside is that Gilchrist appealed to the greed, avarice, and hatred that lies deep in the souls of men (and women.) One major militia organization, The Militia of Georgia, decided not to let the Gilchrists go unchallenged. The topic now dominates the discussion board there and those of you with real experience in what the immigration laws are like and the realities should read the topic and maybe give your opinion.
